Leonard Ernest White, 84

Leonard Ernest White, 84, of Bowling Green, IN, passed away on Sept. 14, 2026, surrounded by his family at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Bornon Nov. 28, 1941, in Owen County to Ernest and Ilabelle (Schroer)White, Leonard dedicated his life to farming. He found deep fulfillment in the outdoors, hunting, and a lifetime of honest, hard, work. He will be fondly remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong work ethic, and his love for the quiet joys of rural life.

He is survived by his children, Patricia (Joe) Dubree, Katie Williams,and Leonard (Renee) White II; grandchildren, James (Karlie) Robert,Ashley Dubree, Rebecca Dubree, Luke (Anna) Williams, Megan Williams, Shawn (Amanda) White, Emily (Dilan) Daniel, Connor White, and Ian White; and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Robert, Elijah Robert, Kylie Robert, Elliot White, Amelia White, Rowan White, and Roslyn Daniel. He is also survived by his sister, Trela (Gerald) Clark.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene White and Thelma Brinson; and brothers-in-law, Richard Brinson and Pete Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home of Walton Funeral Service Inc., in Spencer. Visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Sept. 22.
