Alberta Jean Tucker, 95

Alberta Jean Tucker, 95, of Bloomington, passed away Sept. 28, 2026, at Stonecroft Health Campus. Born in Quincy to Harold and Elma (Cooksey) VanDeventer, Alberta lived a long, meaningful life centered on hard work and family.

For over 25 years, she was a dedicated and dependable employee at RCA in Bloomington. Outside of work, Alberta cherished spending time with her family, sewing, quilting, and enjoying the companionship of her beloved dog.

She is survived by her children, Gene (Heidi) Tucker, Gary (Debbie) Tucker, David (Ruthie) Tucker, and Leanna McKnight (John Naylor); six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 63 years, Merle Edgar Tucker; sister, Lavonne Livingston; and brothers, Eugene and Gayle Lee VanDeventer.

Arrangements were entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home of Walton Funeral Service, Inc.
