Edward (Ed) May, 74

Edward (Ed) May passed away at his home in Holiday, Florida on September 30, 2026 from complications due to an illness. He was born in Bloomington on December 4, 1952. He lived in Spencer for several years and graduated from Owen Valley High School in 1970. He later moved to Washington, Indiana, where he lived before moving to Florida.

He is survived by his daughters, Taylor May and Jessica Waggoner, granddaughter, Malia and grandson, Lucas. He is also survived by his sisters, Dottie (Bill) Greene, Brenda Hutton, Jill Oliver, Phyllis Brown, Brenda Pawluk and Iris Porter; and brothers Alan (Janie) Love, Jr. (Kim) Love, Rich (Karen) May, and John (Christy) May. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip May, step-mother, Charlotte, mother, Paula Love, step-father, Weaver, grandparents, Pk and Edith May, and Dorothy Hawkins; two nephews and one niece.
