The Owen Valley High School (OVHS) FFA pet vaccination clinics are back. This year's locations and times include:
Friday, May 2: Freedom Volunteer Fire Department (Walk-up clinic), 5 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 6: OVHS (Walk-Up Clinic), 4 to 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 8: Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department (Walk-up clinic), 5 to 7 p.m.
Monday, May 12: McCormick's Creek Elementary School (Clear weather: Drive-thru clinic in rear parking lot; inclement windy; Walk-up clinic in front parking lot), 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, May 14: Gosport Elementary School (Drive-thru clinic in front parking lot), 5 to 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 17: OVHS (Drive-thru clinic in front parking lot), 1 to 4 p.m.
Thursday, May 22: OVHS (Walk-up clinic) 4 to 7 p.m.
The following canine vaccinations will be available: rabies (must be at least 12 weeks of age) $10, puppy combo (distemper, hepatitis, coronavirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza) $20, adult canine distemper (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) $20, canine lyme $30 and canine bordetella (kennel cough) $15. Heartworm tests, which are canine only, are $15.
The following feline vaccines will be available: feline rabies (must be at least 12 weeks of age) $10, feline distemper (rhinotracheitis, calicifiiers, chlamydophila, panleukopenia) $15 and feline combination (distemper and leukemia) $25.
