Beginning our CCSC journey together

Beginning our CCSC journey together

Dear Cloverdale community and CCSC families,

As the anticipation for the new school year builds, I am delighted to welcome every student, family and staff member back to Cloverdale Community Schools. I am honored to begin my journey as your new Superintendent.

I can’t wait for the halls of our schools to be filled with the energy of our students, their curiosity and the excitement that a new school year brings. I am also eager to collaborate with the dedicated staff and families who make this community so special.

To help you get to know the leader guiding your district this year, I’ll share a few details about my background. Over my 30 years in education, I have served as a teacher, coach, principal, director of secondary education, and assistant superintendent. These varied experiences have prepared me to lead CCSC with heart and intention.

I am particularly excited to immerse myself in the traditions that define us and to uphold the ‘CLOVER WAY’ alongside all of you as we support our students’ growth.

On a personal note, I am married to Travis, a middle school teacher, athletic director, and basketball referee. We are proud parents to three grown children: Chloe, Caden, and Carly. We just welcomed our new son-in-law into the family as well.

We enjoy spending time together as a family whenever possible. My husband and I are certainly eager to add Clover athletics and extracurricular activities to our list of things to do!

While I look forward to cheering on our students outside the classroom, my primary focus remains within the classroom, ensuring every student gains the skills and education they need to thrive. Alongside our Board, we will work as a team to set ambitious goals across all academic and educational areas.

To serve as our guide, we are committed to the development of a strategic plan that will reflect your input and our shared vision for the future. Through meetings and conversations, we will foster a spirit of collegiality as we embark on this next chapter together.

In closing, I look forward to seeing our students excel in the classroom, on the field, on the court, and in every extracurricular endeavor they pursue. Let’s make this our best school year yet!

Sincerely with Clover Pride,
Dr. Stacy Mason
