Publish obituaries in The Owen News at no cost

Due to overwhelming feedback from our readers, we have revised our obituary policy. Beginning with our September 4th issue, obituaries of 250 words or less will be published at no cost. A black and white photo may be included if the resolution meets our minimum requirement of at least 500 px x 500 px. If you would like us to print a longer obituary and/or include a color photo, please reach out to our Advertising Manager, Victoria Arthur at ads@theowennews.org.

Obituaries of any length can be submitted for publication on The Owen News website at no cost.

The deadline for submitting obituaries is 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the paper is published. The name and phone number of the funeral home must accompany the submission.
