Summer break is almost here, and we know it brings a mix of excitement and questions—students are ready for fun, teachers are ready to recharge, and parents are wondering how to keep the kids entertained all day. That's where we come in!
Summer Reading Challenge
This year, reading makes a difference—literally! Every time a kid or teen checks out items (yes, even through Libby!), or attends a program, they earn a vote.
Votes can be cast for local non-profit organizations, and at the end of summer, the top three will receive a donation made in the name of the participants. Track your eBooks and audiobooks on the library's recording sheet to make your digital reading count!
Free Books!
Every child and teen gets two chances to pick out a free book! Stop by the Youth Services Department (upstairs) during the last week of June and the last week of July.
